Somewhere in the noise is a song. Somewhere in the cacophony is a melody—a sweet sound. The ensemble is our attempt to discover the rhythms, the groanings and the eureka moments of life amongst the noise.

Early morning, April 4

Free at last.

One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One man come, he to justify
One man to overthrow

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resist
One man washed on an empty beach.
One man betrayed with a kiss

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

(nobody like you...)

Early morning, april 4
Shot rings out in the memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love...

I reckon this MLK qualifies as a "Cultural Icon". Only this week, 5000 Australians voted his "I have a dream" speech as the most recognisable in history.

Lest we forget.

Your wish is my command.

)I want to hear more about Gareth's dream though...)

Unfortunately, this speech beat Jesus's "sermon" on the mount into second place. Considering that's where Martin got his inspiration...

I think perhaps it's only disappointing or unfortunate if he was pointing in a non-Jesus direction when he gave the speech. Otherwise...both of them yield Kingdom-kudos.
